Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Terms Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Intervals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.
2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER (CRITICAL)
Intervals is a functional tracking assistant designed purely to log timelines. We do not provide medical advice, clinical diagnoses, or tailored health and treatment pathways.
The contents of this app and website, such as text, graphics, and timers, are for informational purposes only. Intermittent fasting is not safe for everyone. You must consult a qualified medical professional or doctor before initiating any dietary changes or extended fasting regimens, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, have a history of eating disorders, diabetes, or any underlying medical condition.
By using this app, you assume all risks associated with fasting. You agree that Intervals is not responsible for any adverse health effects, injuries, or medical conditions resulting from your fasting windows.
3. Local Data & Optional Cloud Sync
By default, your fasting history and settings are stored only in your phone's local storage. Clearing app data, uninstalling the app, or losing your device without an active backup can result in unrecoverable loss of this local data.
If you create an optional Intervals account and enable cloud sync (part of Intervals Pro), a copy of your fasting history is stored on our servers to enable cross-device access and recovery. We make reasonable efforts to keep synced data available, but we do not guarantee against loss and recommend periodically exporting your data via CSV.
4. Accounts & Subscriptions
Some features (including cross-device sync, extended stats, and other premium functionality) require an Intervals Pro subscription, purchased and managed through Google Play. Subscriptions, trials, renewals, and cancellations are subject to Google Play's billing terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
5. Limitation of Liability
Intervals is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer accepts no legal liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, physical injuries, health changes, data loss, or disruptions connected to your use of this software tool.
